Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut ending DLC coming next week

The eagerly anticipated expansion to Mass Effect 3‘s divisive ending arrives next week, Bioware has announced.

The new Extended Cut page on Bioware’s official website states that the free download will be available on ‘June 26th on Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3 in North America and July 4th for PlayStation 3 in Europe’.

It will take up a whopping 1.9 gig of hard drive space and you’ll need to replay the game from the beginning of the final mission to witness the expanded endings.

Little else is divulged on the page other than some vaguely new artwork, with Bioware simply reiterating that this won’t alter the endings that had many Mass Effect 3 players up in arms, just expand on them.
