Android Game of the week – Dots

Dots are huge on the high street at the moment and it appears that Dots are back in vogue in puzzle games.

The task is simple; connect as many same-colored dots as you can in 60 seconds.

You are tasked with clearing random coloured dots in a 6×6 grid. You have a fixed 60 seconds where you must match as many dots of the same colour as in can in horizontal and vertical direction – Diagonally matched dots will not match.

It sounds simple, and it is, but that is where its brilliance comes from.

All you do is draw a line through dots of the same colour. You clear dots and more will fall from above all with the time constraint of 60 seconds. At the end of the round the number of dots you were able to clear will be displayed. The game will add any bonuses you achieved by completing special feats achievements – creating a 3×3 square in one move for example.

Simple and so so addictive. If you have even the smallest problem with the “just one more game” quandary, then you may be better giving this game a very wide berth.
